Great list, had to compliment you on keeping it simple, short and to the point.. Very well written, no rambling, The only part i feel you left out is keyword analysis. Like everything else web related, Google also provides us all with awesome keyword analysis tools free of charge, so we can target our contents better and see how certain words perform in searches for our industry’s products/services on a local and global level.

Interesting I didn’t know that H1 ranks higher than H2 and so forth. As you mentioned that out links to important and use full sites is also important
